This Thanksgiving is not much of a holiday for us, being on the hard trying to get projects done. But, the Peg Legs restaurant here is having a special Thanksgiving menu for us ex-pats, complete with turkey, ham, stuffing, and pumpkin pie!
Last year for Thanksgiving, we were in La Rochelle, and I pulled together the best Thanksgiving dinner I could, with some excellent friends. David and I said we were thankful for the technology that allows us to talk to our friends and family back home, almost 95% of the time.
This year, I’d like to say we are particularly thankful for our blog. David and I are really happy to be writing all about our adventures and making the videos. It’s amazing to think that 5, 10, or 30 years from now we will get to sit down and look through everything and reminisce.
While it’s enough for us that we have this diary of ours to keep up with, we have been extra lucky this year to meet some people because of our blog, and we have made new friends, digital and in real life. For all of the readers of our blog, followers on our Facebook and twitter accounts, and viewers on YouTube, we are incredibly thankful.
